Once was is no more

I was dating this "man" for quite a few weeks. I thought we were both happy. Turns out I was wrong. He wanted more. I was not enough. He started to take off for a couple days at a time. He wouldn't call or even text to let me know he was even alive. Finally I had enough. When he finally decided to come home, for once I wasn't waiting for him. Instead, this poem took my place.
Just thinking of you,
All the things we could do,
Just me and you,
All the things I see,
Are a bit to much apparently.
Your devilish grin,
And your beautiful eyes.
I wish you were mine,
So we could grow together in time,
Forever in your arms is where I want to be,
The only problem that exist is that you're not mine.
